However, some of the Covid-19 guidelines and protocols will still be in place. If you are planning a trip to Seychelles from India, you should keep in mind the following guidelines:

  • You need a negative Covid-19 RT-PCR test before traveling to Seychelles taken within 72 hours ago before your arrival in Mahe, the capital of Seychelles.
  • You need to wear a mask all the time you are in public places.
  • You should carry sanitizer with you all the time while you are visiting public places like tourist attractions in Seychelles, restaurants, bars, etc.

Hopefully, with Seychelles opening up, more Indians will now have a choice to pick between planning for a trip to the Maldives (which was the only island nation open for Indians till now after the pandemic) or booking a package for Seychelles. Whatever be the choice, there’s reason to be happy for the avid travelers as more and more destinations are now welcoming visitors as the Covid-19 vaccine is now more widely available.
